Tranquility is a caravan in blue.

Lord knows how old this caravan is. Located on the older hidden side of Thorney Bay caravan park it sits, mostly empty, waiting for someone to come. With no mod cons whatsoever, and separated from the more modern monstrosities, tranquility takes on a new meaning.

As for the owners, I last saw them some years ago. Themselves older than this lovely van. Someone still cares for it though. Someone is still paying the ground rent.

onOne Software – DSLR Remote for Canon DSLR Cameras & iPhone

Imagine if you will an application that will allow you to control your Canon DSLR remotely using wireless networking.¬† I’m not talking about a wireless shutter release, I’m talking about Canon’s EOS Utility, available on your iPhone, to control a tethered camera from a completely different room (not sure why you’d really want to do this though).¬† It’s not the future, it’s been around for a while, but not content with it working as designed in the first place, the guys designing the software have now released a new version.

onOne Software – DSLR Remote for Canon DSLR Cameras & iPhone.

I saw this once before, but then my iPhone broke a little bit.  Actually, it broke quite a lot. Subsequent drama ensued when O2 (bless their cotton socks) refused to pay for it to be fixed, despite it only being a month or so outside of the 12 month warranty, and with 5 months remaining on my iPhone contract.

That aside, I now have a new job, and a new iPhone – Once I’ve checked the corporate policy regarding “suitable” applications for both the laptop and phone, I may well be giving this a whirl.

Final days

Glad to see that the site has now stabilised, though there’s still some work to do on the layout and getting the resp of the pages sorted out – Like the Portfolio/Gallery.¬† Work on this has stalled temporarily as has taking photographs as I approach my final days at work.¬† Been rather busy making sure all the I’s are dotted and t’s crossed before I start at thenew place on Monday. Haven’t had a chance to really play with the flashgun either, so watch this space, the camera will be dusted off soon.¬† In the meantime, to add¬† something to this otherwise pointless post, I’ve stuck on a shot taken of Canvey Creek.¬† It was a misty morning but the water was flat. Quite like the atmosphere, but not the border on this one – Been meaning to re-process it, but again, haven’t really had the time.
