Took a hell of a lot longer to stitch these than I thought it would and by no means a proper job. Learnt a few hard lessons on the way to the end result here, the most important of which would be – DON’T MOVE THE CAMERA AT ALL when shooting with this in mind.
Also learnt a lot about masking and layers in Photoshop so not all a total loss. Will be replacing this one with a more considered and better edit as soon as I have a few hours spare !!!
Needless to say that come the finish the socks were consigned to the dustbin
There’s a new app for iphones (and I guess the new ipod touch with the camera) that allows you to instantly share your photos with others as well as applying some interestinf filters for different moods. Somehow a cross between Twitter, Flickr and the many applications that just allow you to upload to facebook and flickr. There’s a bunch of guys on the talkphotography forums all signed up who have now become a new circle of ‘friends’ and we’re all sharing photos that probably wouldn’t have really left iPhoto for anything more than a brief look.
If you’ve got an iPhone, give it a go, it’s free (and my username is davefrost) especially if, like me, you haven’t had the time to get out on any shoots with a larger camera.
The continuing trickle of processed shots from a couple of weeks in Dorset – Dorset? I hear you say what the spamming hell is a ring-tailed-lemur doing running around Dorset.¬† Simply put, it wasn’t dorset has an apre rescuse centre called Monkey World and this chap very obligingly stood still so I could grab a few snaps.
Ok, nothing to do with photography but…..
