Tricky Alf murders another pair of white socks………

Jump.......

Took a hell of a lot longer to stitch these than I thought it would and by no means a proper job.  Learnt a few hard lessons on the way to the end result here, the most important of which would be – DON’T MOVE THE CAMERA AT ALL when shooting with this in mind.
Also learnt a lot about masking and layers in Photoshop so not all a total loss.  Will be replacing this one with a more considered and better edit as soon as I have a few hours spare !!!

Needless to say that come the finish the socks were consigned to the dustbin

These bundles of noise and fluff weren’t born. They’ve pretty much doubled in size over the last 7 days and I’m pleases to say that they’re all doing rather well.

1 to 4 - A hard day sleeping

They’re still only named as Number 1, Number 2, Number 3 and Number 4 but sure that will change as they start to get more mobile and inquisitive.
Plenty of people have expressed an interest in having one (or more) but so far, no deposits……..

Concrete, sunshine and interesting lines

Stuck on the M25 (again) the other morning, with the camera at the ready to capture a field full of corn I always get stuck in traffic next to. The spring sunshine looks great on the corn and wind turbine in the middle of it, and It’s a shot I’ve been trying to get for weeks. A few miles before the cornfield, is this bridge and I was struck by how much more interesting things look with some decent light.
Thousands of people drive past this every day, and most of them probably take no notice of it whatsoever

M25 Bridge - M1 Junction

What about the cornfield? – The traffic stopped at the perfect spot to capture exactly the image in my mind’s eye. The only problem was that some bastard had been out in the combine harvester over the weekend, and all I had was a field full of stubble…. Ah well, there’s always next year….

Thank Crunchie it’s Friday

A bitesize crunchie with a bitesize chunk missing.

More extension tube attempts ended up in the bin this lunchtime. Had plenty of flowery thingies from in the garden, and a couple of things I found laying about indoors.¬† Not the greatest shot in the world, though with the flash off camera¬† I think I’ve got the Depth of Field issues sorted now !
Was going to try a couple of additional ones of this, bouncing the flash to eliminate some of the shadows. Unfortunately, I ate it instead.

Why is it you can never find a snail or a spider when you need one?
