It’s always a little disturbing when you start to look closely at the amount of time you spend waiting during your lifetime. I’m not just counting the time you’re physically queueing, or waiting for your dinner but the time you’re not fully focussed because you may, for example, be waiting on instructions, information or just a page to refresh on your browser of choice. It’s all dead time. Completely and utterly useless wasted time. I spent 180 minutes of my life in a car, on a motorway, un-moving because of a lorry fire this morning. What could I have been doing instead? or perhaps the question should be what would I have been doing instead?
